Frequently asked questions

Do I need any previous pasta-making experience?

Not at all. My workshops are designed for beginners, but the small group size means I can tailor my time to suit everyone. Whether you've never made pasta before or you're looking to refine your pasta-making skills, you'll have plenty of individual guidance throughout the workshop.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing. All ingredients and equipment are provided. Just bring your eagerness to learn and an appetite.

What happens if I can no longer attend?

Please choose your workshop date carefully when booking. Due to the small size of the workshops, bookings are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, a gift voucher will be provided so you can book into another scheduled workshop, provided you give more than seven days' notice. Cancellations within seven days of the workshop are not eligible for a refund, reschedule or gift voucher.

Will I get to eat the pasta we make?

Absolutely. I'll prepare enough pasta for the group to enjoy together, and you'll also have pasta to take home. The workshop includes a shared meal, so come hungry.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

The scheduled workshops are vegetarian-friendly, and the semolina pasta workshops use a vegan dough. I can accommodate vegetarian and vegan guests, but I do not teach gluten-free pasta making in my scheduled workshops.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely. You're very welcome to come on your own, or bring a friend, partner or family member. With a maximum of six people, the workshops are small and relaxed, so it's easy to meet others and enjoy the experience together.

What our guests say

★★★★★

"I completed the carbonara workshop in September and it was amazing!! I loved that it was a small group so we could have our turns learning and asking questions. She asked us our level of ability and throughout the whole time added tips knowing I knew the basics. I am so happy I decided to attend and I'm even looking at doing another one soon!"

Rhiannon Barrett

★★★★★

"I have done 2 of Simone's workshops and hosted one of my own for both my daughter's birthday parties. Nothing was too hard for Simone and she helped organise every step. Simone's workshops are hands on and enjoyable, and all the girls left saying it was the best party they had ever been to."

Evelyn Raso

"My partner and I attended two of Simone's pasta workshops and the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Simone was such a warm and welcoming host. Her teaching skills are exceptional and her instructions were so clear and encouraging that we both left feeling completely confident in our abilities."

"I've been to quite a few of Simone's pasta workshops now, and every one has been a great experience. They're relaxed, fun and really informative. The highlight is always sitting down to enjoy a bowl of pasta after. Highly recommend if you've ever wanted to give it a go!"
