Hello, I’m Simone Agostino
Cookbook author, pasta teacher, event host and lifelong lover of food.
My Italian roots shape the way I cook and share food, with flavour, feeling and a deep respect for simple, honest ingredients.
Food has taken me well beyond my own kitchen. Over the years, I’ve taught pasta workshops, hosted private and corporate events, led live cooking demonstrations for audiences of more than 70 people, and appeared at book tours, signings, Q&As and food events across Perth. I’ve also worked with local food brands and campaigns, and self-published two cookbooks, The Table of Us and TOO.
But a lot of what I believe about food starts at home.
I’m a mum to three boys, including 10-year-old twins and a 12-year-old, and I want them to grow up knowing that good food doesn’t have to be complicated. That cooking is something they can feel confident doing. And that sitting down around a table with the people you love matters.
I think those things are worth learning early, but it’s never too late to learn them.
These days, my kitchen is where I teach, cook and bring people together. I run hands-on pasta workshops, private dining and events, and create recipes and resources designed to make cooking from scratch feel achievable.
I believe good food needs good ingredients, the right technique, a little patience and, ideally, people around the table to share it with.
Whether you join me for a workshop, book me for an event, cook from one of my books, or simply follow along as I make pasta in my kitchen, I hope you find something here that makes you want to get your hands in the dough.
Welcome to my kitchen.
